Week commencing 5th July 

This week we will be continuing to read the story 'Billy's Bucket. We will be recapping the different things that Billy found in his bucket and we will be using our own imaginations to think about what else could be in the bucket. We will then be writing a sentence to explain what is in our bucket.

In maths we will be using practical objects to help us to halve a group of objects.

In phonics we are working on week 2 of phase 3 and will be focussing on the sounds y, z, zz, qu. We will practise applying these sounds into our reading and writing.

All reading books have now been collected in but all children have a book assigned on Rising Stars (see your child's reading record book for their login information).

Please remember that our PE day is now Monday, can all children come to school in their PE kits.
