On Tuesday, we were excited to meet our new PCSO's, Joe & Carol! They showed us their smart uniforms and talked to us about keeping safe in our community. 

 

Literacy & Art/Design 

We have been thinking of what we would like in our dream house. Children explored mark-making using wax crayons. They then used the wax crayons to draw their dream house. Some dream homes included a swimming pool, a slide, climbing frame, lots of new toys and a new bunk bed!

 

Phonics:  

Last week, we taught the following phonemes: ck, e, u, r.

Tricky Word of the week was: I 

Children re-visited the tricky word: Is

 

Maths: 

We have been learning all about patterns. We had fun creating our own repeating patterns! We used actions to create a repeating pattern (e.g., tap your head, wiggle your hips). Some children were brave enough to show their pattern to the rest of the class. 

We also continued and created our own repeating patterns, using physical objects. 

 

 

Please ensure that earings/any other jewellery are not worn on Friday, PE day.
