This week we will be continuing to explore the story of Beegu by Alexis Deacon. It tells the story of Beegu who lands on Earth from Outer Space and how she tries to make friends with the Earth people!! 

We will be thinking about the creative language the author uses in particular the adjectives (describing words) and we will be using all our fabulous story telling skills to help us to retell and write our own stories.

Maths

This week we will continue to practise our counting skills counting forwards and backwards in 2s, 5s and 10s. We will be consolidating our knowledge of equal and unequal groups and learning doubles.

Topic

This week we will be thinking about the names and the order of the planets in our solar system.

We will also be creating our own planets by exploring different paint effects.
