This week the children will be watching a video of an imaginative adventure story called ‘Journey’ by Aaron Becker. The story has no text but instead is told through elaborate illustrations. The children will be planning and having a go at writing their own adventure stories.

Maths

This week we will be continuing our topic on measurement by focussing on time. The children will be learning the vocabulary used to describe different measurements of time.

Topic

This week we will be talking about the importance of winning, losing and taking part in team sports. It nearly came home!

We will also be practising taking penalties and other mini sports day activities.

At the end of the week we will be watching the BFG (Big Friendly Giant) and discussing with the children whether a giant really can be friendly and charming.
