Review of Week beginning 9th September

We are so impressed with how the children have settled into Nadia Shireen class. 

English

We have been finding out all about our class author, Nadia Shireen. We have read lots of books written by her already including Geoffrey Gets the Jitters, The Bumblebear, Barbara Throws a Wobbler, Billy and the Dragon and Billy and the Beast. Why not ask your child to tell you about the stories and ask them which is their favourite.

Maths

We have started our new topic of 'Place Value up to 100' and have been busy representing numbers using tens and ones.

Curriculum

We have been learning about our class dojo rules - listen, try, help, share, polite, kind. We have also been thinking about making good choices and the children have completed their applications to be a school councillor. 

We have really enjoyed our PE lessons this week and have been learning how to improve our jogging, sprinting and dodging skills.
