Review of week beginning 30th September

School councillors

A BIG well done to all of the children who applied to be school councillors and HUGE congratulations to Aamina and Jameela who are now our Nadia Shireen class councillors.

 

English

At the beginning of the week the Evil Pea (the greatest veggie villain of all time) caused caos in KS1 shared area!!!! There was a leek taped to the wall, an orange about to get crushed in a juicer and lots of other innocent vegetables under attack! The children have to investigate the 'crime scene' for evidence, take photographs and write about what they thought had happened. 

 

Maths

This week the children have been practising extimating numbers on a variety of number lines.

 

Curriculum

In computing the children have been learning how to complete and submit a task.

We have also been learning some songs to perform at the Dewsbury Big Sing.

In RE the children have been sharing and learning more about The Five Pillars of Islam.
