Review of Week beginning 2nd December

We have been reading the book 'Rapunzel' by Bethan Woollvin and the children have been comparing it to the traditional version of the story. They have also been reading and performing some spooky poems and writing additional verses. We finished off the week by making some magic potions and writing a list of ingredients.  

Maths

In our maths lessons we have been adding 2 digit numbers and in our Fluency Bee sessions we have been thinking about odd and even numbers.

Curriculum

In PE this week we were developing our 'throwing for accuracy' skills during our athletics session.

In Design Technology the children completed their linkages for their moving monsters and worked really well in their pairs.

We have also been busy practising singing our winter songs for our end of year performance.
